Pre - load cross shaft screw for MARLES 462 P3690 and P3691 steering box (2" bearings). This pre-load screw cannot be used to "adjust" the settings on the steering box. It's simply for pre-load on the head of the cross shaft and is not an "adjustment" of any kind - a common misconception. These steering boxes can only be "adjusted" by taking out or replacing shims in any of the four positions inside the box.
